Some Diamonds might seem to have a tint of Blue color , but they turn out to actually be White Diamonds!
How?!
Well,, sometimes diamonds get exposed to extra amounts of 'Boron' under very high pressure and temperatures, leaving them with some traces of Boron, and adding a hue of blue color to these diamonds-This is called 'Blue Nuance'.
Now, you might wonder about the difference between a 'Blue Nuance' Diamond and an Actual 'Blue Diamond'?!
As mentioned previously, blue nuance diamonds are regarded as colorless diamonds and are also graded upon this. On the hand, blue diamonds contains higher amounts of Boron, which gives them a stronger color, classifying them as colored diamonds. They are also graded accordingly as follows:-
Faint, very light, light, fancy light, fancy, fancy intense, fancy vivid, fancy deep.
